Frequently asked questions

General finance questions

  • How does vehicle finance work?

Basically, it lets you get the car now and pay it off over time in instalments, rather than paying the full amount upfront. We submit an application on your behalf to a registered finance provider, who'll look at your situation and let you know what you're eligible for.

  • Can I trade in my car and use that as the deposit?

Yes - you can use the value of your trade-in as part or all of your finance deposit.

  • Do I need a deposit to get finance?

No-deposit finance is a popular option, and our lenders offer flexible deposit requirements. As long as the affordability stacks up, you could be able to get finance without needing to put down a deposit upfront.

  • Can I get pre-approval before I find the right car?

Definitely. Getting pre-approved means you can go shopping like a cash buyer - and you're not locked in to buying from us either.

Apply for finance

  • How do I apply for finance?

Nice and easy - there are a few ways to do it. You can apply online here, flick Hannah an email at , or just pop in and see her in person and she'll walk you through it.

  • What will I need to provide?

Just the basics, your contact details, income, employment status, expenses, and ID. This helps the lender work out what's affordable for you.

  • Will applying affect my credit score?

Some of our finance partners will run a credit check as part of assessing your application — this is called a credit enquiry, and it may show up on your credit report.

A single enquiry usually only has a minor impact, though a few enquiries in a short space of time can add up. If you're ever unsure, just have a chat with Hannah and she'll talk you through it.

  • Does applying mean I'm locked in?

Not at all - applying just lets the lender look at your situation and put some options together. Even better, if you get pre-approved, that applies whether you end up buying through us or somewhere else. There's no obligation to accept an offer or go ahead with a purchase.

  • Been declined elsewhere? Got bad credit or defaults? No worries.

We have access to a wide range of lenders, so even with a rocky credit history, it's worth exploring your options, bad credit or defaults don't automatically rule you out, but slightly different lending criteria may apply. Hannah will work with you to see what's available, guide you through the whole process, and you'll always see your options clearly before deciding anything.

  • Can I get a loan if I receive the benefit?

Yes, that's fine. Lenders look at whether you can afford the repayments, comparing what comes in against what goes out, rather than where your income comes from. As long as the numbers add up, you're in with a shot.

You can either click the ‘Apply for finance’ button while viewing one of our vehicles or apply online here. We have a couple of options available, simply choose the one that suits you best.

Repayments rates & terms

  • How are repayments calculated?

A few things come into play here, the loan amount, interest rate, term, and how much deposit you're putting down. Want a quick idea of what you'd be paying? Our online calculator will get you a handy estimate.

  • What interest rate will I get?

This one depends on a few things - your credit profile, which lender you go with, and a responsible lending assessment. Since we work with a range of finance providers, rates can vary from lender to lender, but Hannah will always work to get you the best rate for your individual circumstances.

  • How long can I finance a car for?

Loan terms usually sit somewhere between 1 and 5 years, though some lenders offer shorter or longer options. Hannah will help you land on a term that suits your budget and lifestyle.
